Michael Gerrish

Michael Gerrish, MS, is the author of The Mind-Body Makeover Project: A 12-Week Plan for Transforming Your Body and Your Life and When Working Out Isn't Working Out: A Mind-Body Guide to Conquering Unidentified Fitness Obstacles. Formerly a conditioning consultant for the Boston Red Sox and Boston Bruins, Gerrish has also been employed as a fitness director and professional model. Currently, he is a fitness coach, psychotherapist, and certified thought-field therapist.

Gerrish, who has a BS in health, physical education, and recreation, an MS in counseling psychology, and a level 2 certification in thought-field therapy, received his graduate and undergraduate degrees from Springfield College in Springfield, Mass.

His work has been featured in numerous magazines and newspapers as well as on various web sites
